Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World in Elmendorf, TX is seeking an experienced General Laborer to organize the outdoor trailer areas, unload freight, and assist with service and maintenance duties. The role focuses on presenting the lot neatly and supporting store sales and service activities.

Responsibilities include assembling and parking trailers, washing trailers for delivery, and helping customers hook up trailers while performing basic safety checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Availability Monday–Saturday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers.
• Park and move trailers.
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery.
• Assist customers with trailer hookups and perform basic safety inspections (lights, chains, decking).
• Maintain the lot (cleaning, mowing, weed removal, trash pickup).
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies.
• Support service technicians and store opening/closing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
