Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World in Homer Glen, IL is seeking a General Laborer to organize and present the outdoor trailer and product areas, unload freight, assemble trailers, and assist with service and maintenance while delivering customer support.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and availability to work Monday through Saturday with overtime as needed; you will help maintain the lot and support store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Availability to work Monday–Saturday and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers
• Park and move trailers
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery
• Help customers hook-up trailers. Perform visual safety inspection (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.)
• Maintain lot including mowing, weed removal, snow removal, picking up trash, installing exterior signs, banners, or flags
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies
• Support Service Technicians as needed
• Support opening and closing of the store as directed
• Clean and organize store and support areas as directed
• Other duties as assigned
