Job summary

EPES Transport System, LLC, a Penske Logistics division, seeks a Trailer Inspector in Franklin, VA to inspect trailers entering the yard and ensure compliance with company standards. Responsibilities

• Inspect all trailers prior to docking for loading and report defects.
• Enter trailer and carrier data into the IP system for trailers entering/leaving the yard.
• Perform daily trailer pool yard checks at 7am and 3pm.
• Ensure the drop yard is clear of trailer congestion.
• Correct incorrectly spotted trailers at no additional cost to IP.
• Obtain signed Interchange Agreements with each carrier serving Franklin mill.
