UPS seeks a Trailer Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance on UPS trailers and converter dollies. You will diagnose and repair non-power equipment, including air brake and electrical systems, and operate standard transmissions with required PPE. Overtime and variable hours are common during peak seasons.

Must have your own hand tools and be 21+, with CDL preferred. This is a full-time role with work in environments varying in temperature and humidity.

Qualificações

• Must be U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have own complete set of hand tools
• Experience completing repairs on trailer or dolly equipment
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Class A or B CDL preferred
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Overtime and variable hours required during peak season

Responsabilidades

• Meet D.O.T requirements.
• Diagnose and repair non-power equipment including air brake and electrical systems.
• Operate standard/manual transmission.
• Lift and move equipment up to 70 pounds; assist with items up to 150 pounds.
• Work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
• Wear PPE and comply with safety standards.
