UPS trailers and converter dollies require qualified maintenance personnel to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and make repairs to air brake and electrical systems. The role involves working on UPS Transportation Trailers with a focus on safety and reliability, and requires regular communication with supervisors.

Ideal candidates will have current trailer mechanic experience, proficiency with diagnostic equipment and scan tools, and must own a complete set of hand tools.

Qualifications

• Current documented trailer mechanic experience
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer
• Possess a full complement of personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet D.O.T requirements
• Report to work regularly and on time
• Work varying shifts and overtime as needed
• Lift and move packages/equipment up to 150 pounds
• Operate standard/manual transmission and power tools
• Wear and use PPE as required
