Job summary

pacetransportation is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician in Michigan to diagnose, repair, and maintain trailers for safety and performance. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

You will inspect brakes, electrical systems, suspension, and structural components; perform routine maintenance; document services; and collaborate with other technicians while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive or diesel is a plus.
• Certifications such as ASE or OEM certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trailers, including brakes, electrical systems, suspension, and structural components.
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
