Job summary

Stevens Transport's Paragon Leasing division seeks an entry level Trailer Body Technician to repair trailer body imperfections, insulate, paint, and weld repairs. This role offers a start in a growing maintenance department within a large, essential transportation organization.

You will perform welding, decal removal, insulation removal and repair, bondo work, and realign structural components, while keeping a clean, safe workplace and adhering to OHSA and EPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Welding skills preferred or basic exposure.
• Basic painting experience welcome.
• Ability to perform body repairs and use hand tools safely.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean workspace.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

• Welding; minor and major body repairs

• Removing decals from Trailers

• Repair or removing insulations from Trailers

• Working with metal panels by straightening and completing bondo work as needed

• Realigning structural components

• Communicating with management about additional damage beyond original repair orders

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Complying with all company, OHSA and EPA rules and guidelines

• All other duties as assigned
