Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Production Technician Associate in Nashville, TN. The role involves assembling trailer components and sub-assemblies, performing quality inspections, and supporting production workflows on a Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand job orders and work procedures.
• Demonstrated technical skills and experience with assembly in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and repetitively assemble trailer component parts using blueprints or instructions.
• Safely use measuring and inspection instruments.
• Operate power and hand tools safely.
• Work with materials such as steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents and abrasives.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance and quality standards.
• Organize parts and equipment to maximize department efficiency.
