Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Production Technician Associate to assemble trailer components and perform quality inspections. This role operates on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with potential for travel as required.

You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and apply safe handling of materials to ensure parts meet specifications. We value teamwork, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work both independently and within a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques.
• Read and follow job orders and work procedures.
• Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to travel more than 75% of the time

Responsibilities

• Identify and perform repetitive assembly of trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions.
• Safely utilize various measuring and inspection instruments.
• Use various power and hand tools in a safe manner.
• Work with materials such as steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils and abrasives.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality standards.
• Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within department.
