Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Production Technician Associate for 1st shift (8:00am–4:30pm) in Social Circle, GA. You will assemble trailer components, inspect parts, and ensure quality while following blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities include reading orders, using measuring tools, handling steel, aluminum, and solvents, and proposing improvements to methods and equipment, while maintaining safe operation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques.
• Ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures
• Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience
• 2 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment
• Availability to travel more than 75% of the time
• Proven ability to collaborate with and support other team members
• Ability to be engaged and productive while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outside on occasion
• Reach (including above your head)
• Safely walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Visually adjust focus, have depth perception and close vision capabilities
