Job summary

Westmor Industries is seeking skilled assemblers for our team. The role involves installing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, performing post-paint assembly on trucks, and installing prefabricated components with precision.

You will read blueprints and technical diagrams to guide the process and operate a range of tools safely to meet quality standards. Ideal candidates have a mechanical background, can read blueprints and tape measures (1/8 inch grads), and may have repair shop

Qualifications

• Mechanical background and blueprint-reading ability are required.
• Ability to read 1/8” gradations on a tape measure.
• Repair shop experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• System Installation: Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems with precision.
• Perform Post-Paint Assembly: Complete assembly after painting per standards.
• Install Prefabricated Components: Mount prefabricated parts onto trucks accurately.

Job Description

• System Installation:Install and integrate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including airline systems, with a high level of accuracy.
• Perform Post-Paint Assembly:Complete detailed assembly routines on trucks following the painting process, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Install Prefabricated Components:Mount and secure prefabricated parts and assemblies onto trucks with precision and efficiency.
• Read and Interpret Technical Documents:Utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide the assembly process and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Operate Tools and Equipment:Proficiently use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete complex assembly tasks safely and effectively.

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $20-$25 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Day Shift

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
