Job summary

XPO in Minnesota is seeking a Technician Specialist to inspect trailers, perform brake replacements, and complete maintenance on doors and SafeStack Systems near the dock. You will work with shop technicians to perform repairs and document work orders in the system.

The role offers a first shift 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, uniforms provided, tool allowance, comprehensive health, life and disability insurance, PTO, sick leave, holidays, 401(k) with company match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Basic mechanical skills required.
Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance, service and repair activities.
Able to perform safety inspections and prepare safety documentation.
Desire to become a Trailer Technician.

Responsibilities

Assist with trailer inspections and brake replacement to gain FMCSA-related experience.
Complete component replacements.
Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on trailer doors and SafeStack Systems near the dock.
Work with shop technicians to complete minor trailer repairs.
Enter job times and parts on repair orders to track activities.
Operate specialized tooling and vehicles.
Keep work area clean, safe, and well-maintained and report hazards.
Interact with operations and shop management.
