Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor to support the Guest Services Manager at Trail’s End Lodge. You will supervise front-of-house staff, assist with guest check-in/out, and coordinate concierge, transportation, and bell operations.

The role requires leadership, excellent communication, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. A valid driver’s license is required; experience with guest service tools and cash handling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Staff leadership, coaching and mentoring experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Understanding of computers, systems, and guest service tools.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Checking guests in and out, including settling guest balances on departure.
• Concierge duties, including reservations for restaurants, transportation, childcare, and activities.
• Assist in coordinating transportation and bell-related duties, luggage handling, and guest pickups/drop-offs.
• Handle cash, credit card, and lift ticket sales transactions daily.
• Help the Guest Services Manager recruit, train, motivate, supervise, schedule, and evaluate front-of-house staff.
• Demonstrate proactive guest, owner, and employee problem resolution with urgency, respect, and empathy.
• Ensure staff professionalism through coaching, dress codes, and organized workspaces; maintain training materials and clear communication channels.
• Collaborate with the Manager to develop processes for smooth front-of-house operation.
• Assist with staff timecard entries and be available as Guest Services Agent, Concierge, or Bell staff as needed.
• Maintain flexibility for varied hours and workload; support other departments as needed.
• Maintain vehicle policy and protocol for Deer Valley or HOA vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
