Job summary

YMCA Camp Classen in the Arbuckle Mountains seeks equestrian staff for seasonal and year-round roles. Wranglers will care for the herd, lead guided trail rides, and teach basic horsemanship to guests of all ages in a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous horse handling experience.
• Comfortable leading and riding horses safely.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Enjoys working with children and families.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• CHA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead guided trail rides through Arbuckle Mountains.
• Teach basic horsemanship and riding skills.
• Groom, saddle, bridle, and care for horses.
• Maintain daily barn chores and facilities.
• Provide excellent guest service and safety.
• Work as part of a team with a servant-leader attitude.
• Assist with special events and family programs.
