Job summary

Achievers Network is looking for a highly motivated Trail Monitoring & Events Intern based in May, Missouri. This part-time position starts in April 2022 and involves supporting the Trail Monitoring Program while working closely with a GIS Analyst & Planner.

The intern will install automated trail counters, manage data, and represent Tri-State Trails at events. A pay rate of $15/hour for approximately 15-20 hours per week is offered, and the ideal candidate should possess knowledge of ArcGIS and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate.
• Willing to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to transport and ride a bicycle is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install and dismantle automated trail counters.
• Troubleshoot counting technology in the field.
• Collect and manage data from automated trail counters.
• Represent Tri-State Trails at community events.

Skills

Basic understanding of ArcGIS

Strong work ethic
