Job summary

A regional resort company in Montanta is seeking an experienced machine operator for trail building at its Bike Park. The role involves operating various heavy equipment, creating and maintaining trails for bikers of all skill levels, and ensuring safety. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be able to ride a mountain bike at an intermediate level. This full-time seasonal position offers several perks including free bike haul pass and discounts at resort facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience trail building with excavators.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience creating new bench cut machine trails with jumps, berms, and features.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a chainsaw preferred.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with bike park trail designations and difficulty ratings.
• Operate excavators safely and productively.
• Create trail and feature designs with Bike Park managers.
