Job summary

Mountain-Capital-Partners is seeking a Trail Crew Member to help build and maintain trails in the bike park. You will work as part of a tight-knit crew, performing shoveling, raking, and hiking daily, with downhill riding experience preferred but not required.

Strong teamwork, good judgment, and problem-solving are essential as you operate under varying conditions and may carry heavy loads on rugged terrain.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to perform trail building and maintenance in a bike park.
• Ability to shovel, rake, hike and carry heavy loads on rugged terrain.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn mountain bike terrain and construction techniques.
• Strong teamwork, judgment, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trails within the bike park as part of a crew.
• Shovel, rake, and hike daily.
• Support downhill riding projects; preferred but not required.
• Follow supervisor instructions and adapt to varying conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB SUMMARY:A Trail Crew Member is responsible for the maintenance of trails in the bike park by performing their duties, while having an understanding of trail building design and construction techniques, is a mountain bike rider and possesses general construction skills.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):Works within a crew to build and maintain the trails within the bike park.Shoveling, raking and walking/hiking on a daily basis.Work as a member of a tight knit crew.Downhill bike riding (preferred, but not required).Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructionsOther duties as assigned by supervisor, which could be directly related or unrelated to original position.Ability to work under varying conditions.Ability to carry heavy loads (50+) for long distances over rugged terrainGood judgment, communication, and problem-solving skillsSome knowledge of Mountain Bike Terrain, or the willingness to learnStrong desire and motivation to work hard and make a difference every dayMust possess a valid Driver’s License, ID card, or equivalentWillingness to learn
