Job summary

CWS NorCal is seeking a part-time Anti-Trafficking CaseWorker to provide trauma-informed, client-centered, intensive case management to survivors of sex and labor trafficking. You will work with community partners, law enforcement, and victim services to guide clients toward safety and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities include assessments, safety planning, resources navigation, and training of staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, human services, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional case management experience with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client point-of-contact in coordination with Senior Caseworker for CWS NorCal’s Anti-Trafficking Program.
• Complete client assessments, safety planning, resource referrals, and health navigation, with in-person and virtual visits.
• Ensure warm hand-off to victim service agencies for services such as compensation, legal, medical, mental health care, benefits, and housing.
• Coordinate services with California Victim Compensation Board and state courts/law enforcement as needed.
• Independently track access to resources, support clients, and ensure safety and stability.
• Develop partnerships and referrals throughout Northern California’s coastal and rural areas.
• Monitor safety and well-being, ensure shelter and care as required.
• Serve as a mandated reporter.
• Provide training to service providers and community members.
• Write case notes, enter data, and complete reports with confidentiality.
