Spivey Services is a leading provider of traffic safety and sanitation solutions in Virginia, offering traffic control, equipment rentals, and portable sanitation services—including restroom/shower trailers, hand-wash stations, and toilet accessories.

Position Overview

The traffic technician supports safe and efficient traffic flow around construction zones, public events, or road maintenance sites. This role involves setting up and removing traffic control devices, directing vehicles and pedestrians, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate is alert, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions while maintaining a strong focus on public and crew safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
• Must have “0 or Plus” DMV Driving Points along with a valid Virginia Driver’s License
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have truck driver experience with large trucks (18′ to 24′) Non-CDL
