Qualifications

• Degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
• Valid Professional Engineer's license.
• Experience in Arterial System Management, Traffic Management Center operations, Traffic Signal Systems and ITS components.
• Experience in automated signal control system operations and adaptive signal control.
• Knowledge of project management, risk analysis and mitigation plans in technology and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operations Engineering and Decision Support function for traffic systems management.
• Develop policies and guidance for arterial and freeway network operations and ITS deployments.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, and consultant contracts to meet goals and compliance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders at local, state, federal levels to enhance transportation efficiency.
