Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College coursework in electronics, electricity or welding and soldering preferred.
• Must pass CDL, Class B Endorsement written test within 6 months and driving test within 11 months.
• IMSA Level I within 11 months and IMSA Level II within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and upgrade traffic signals and automated vehicle control devices.
• Respond to trouble calls and perform on-call duty.
• Perform preventative maintenance and operate specialized trucks and equipment.
• Locate signals/cables for other agencies and supervise contractors.
• Build and dismantle signal equipment at various sites.
