Hernando County is seeking a skilled Traffic Signal Technician to perform maintenance, repair, installation, inspection and operation of traffic signal systems. The role includes conducting traffic studies and supporting streetlight maintenance as needed.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of electrical/electronic experience. A Florida CDL is required or obtainable within six months of hire.

County employees are required to report for work during a state of emergency and are subject to recall around the clock for emergency response operations which may include duties other than those specified in this job description. A combination of education, training and experience may be substituted at the County's discretion.
Pay Grade: 4
