Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a full-time field inspector to oversee major and minor infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater, and drainage, ensuring compliance with construction and environmental standards. This is a technical position that involves performing inspections of major and minor infrastructure projects to include the construction of roads, stormwater drainage systems, and transportation elements of potable water and sanitary systems in order to ensure compliance with construction and environmental standards, ordinances, and law. This position also involves interacting with the public to respond to questions regarding roadway conditions and the County's Pavement Management Program. This class works within broad policy and organizational guidelines: reports progress of major activities through construction daily reports and periodic conferences and meetings.
