Job summary

The City of San Diego is seeking a Traffic Signal Technician responsible for the installation and maintenance of traffic signals and related electrical components. Qualifications

• Three years of full-time journey-level electrician experience.
• Valid California Class C Driver License; potentially Class B license with medical certification.
• Five years of full-time experience in relevant industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, maintain, and repair electrical traffic signal components.
• Assist in the design and modification of control and test equipment.
• Train semiskilled workers and apprentices.
