Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Traffic Signal Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair street lights and traffic signals, including high-mast lighting. The role requires operating bucket trucks and other equipment, with overtime and on-call hours possible.

A CDL may be required within 120 days of hire. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (IMSA preferred) and be prepared to read blueprints and supervise Traffic Signal Laborers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• IMSA preferred.
• Willing to obtain CDL Class A or B within 120 days of hire.
• Ability to read blueprints/plans and construct as per plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists with installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting and traffic signal equipment.
• Provide daily report of operations, material needs and issues to the General Foreperson.
