Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Georgia is seeking a Traffic Signal Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair street lighting, high-mast luminaires and traffic signals. You will read blueprints, operate bucket trucks and related equipment, provide daily operational reports to the General Foreperson, and coordinate with Traffic Signal Laborers.

Willingness to work full-time with possible overtime, travel within Georgia, and to obtain a Class A or B CDL within 120 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to meet job requirements.
• Reading blueprints/plans and constructing as per plans (L2-L3).
• Able to operate equipment to install signal items (bucket truck, derrick).
• Willing to obtain Class A or B CDL within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists with installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting and signal equipment.
• Provide daily report of operations, material needs and issues to the General Foreperson.
