Job summary

You will oversee maintenance activities, coordinate with police and field technicians, and lead a team in maintaining and testing traffic signal systems while managing schedules and records.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate technical information orally and in writing.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize multiple assignments and competing priorities.
• Knowledge of traffic control devices and traffic signal maintenance and operations.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating contractors in a 24/7 operation.
• Proficiency with reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of operational plans, budgets and expenditure documentation for regional transportation management systems.
• Coordinate with field technicians and contractors to implement work plans and ensure safety standards.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of traffic signal equipment, including timing plans and controller testing.
• Lead and supervise staff in inspections, maintenance, and emergency response.
• Prepare reports and maintain records of maintenance activities and incidents.
