Job summary

Traf-Tex, Inc. is seeking Traffic Signal, Roadway Construction skilled and semi skilled individuals for projects in the Harlingen Rio Grand Valley area. Training is available for those without prior experience. Install underground conduit and concrete boxes; roadway electrical and traffic signal systems.

We hire knowledgeable, hardworking personnel who can work with minimal supervision, take direction, and work as a team. Our team focuses on traffic signal systems, ITS, and roadway lighting.

Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry, plumbing and electrical installations.
• Familiarity with roadway electrical installation is helpful.
• Valid I.D. or current driver's license (class C, B or A).
• Experience driving light to medium construction vehicles is helpful.
• Ability to work as a team.

We are seeking a Traffic Signal, Roadway Construction skilled and semi skilled individuals to become an integral part of our team! We have several projects in the Harlingen Rio Grand Valley area and are need of knowledgeable, hard working, caring and experienced personnel. Training is available for the right persons that does not have prior experience. Installation of underground conduit and concrete boxes. Carpenters, utility, plumbers, skilled laborers and common laborers. Experience is compensated at competitive rates.

Responsibilities:

• Managers and laborers needed
• Installation of underground conduit and cable
• Installation of roadway electrical and traffic signal systems
• Perform work with minimum supervision
• Dedication to do the work right the first time
• Able to take direction on daily duties
• Able to think on your own when circumstances require
• Good transportation to job site is provided

Qualifications:

• Experience with carpentry, plumbing and electrical installations.
• Equipment operators (Excavators, Backhoes, cranes, boring machine and skid steers) is a plus.
• Previous experience in roadway lighting and or traffic signals is helpful
• Familiarity with roadway electrical installation helpful.
