Ideal candidates have a college degree or 5+ years in Transportation/Civil projects, plus 4+ years in inspection or supervision and a California driver’s license.

Qualifikationen

• College degree or 5+ years in Transportation/Civil projects is required.
• 4+ years of supervision or inspection experience on engineering construction projects.
• Valid California Class C license with acceptable driving record is required.

Aufgaben

• Inspect and report on a variety of construction projects.
• Advise Resident Engineer or Agency Project Manager on variances from plans and specs.
• Take samples, prepare test specimens, and assist in field tests or refer samples for lab analysis.
• Check location of public utilities to avoid interference with construction work.
• Review contractor traffic control plans and project safety.
• Maintain inspection records and daily diary/photos.
