The City of Missouri City is seeking a Traffic Signal Specialist in the Public Works Department to install, repair, monitor, maintain, operate, and report on the City’s ITS. This full-time role reports to the Traffic Operations Manager and includes duties such as supporting the Traffic Management Center and coordinating projects like signal upgrades and studies.

Qualifications include a minimum of six years of related experience or an associate's degree with six years of experience, IMSA Level

Formación

• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience required.
• IMSA Level II Certification required.
• Must obtain IMSA Level II Certification within two (2) years of employment.
• Valid Class B CDL is a preferred qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in developing and implementing Divisional Goals and Objectives to meet the Departmental Mission.
• Performs administrative duties including budget development and contract administration.
• Supervises contractors by processing work requests and job orders, assigning duties, monitoring purchases, approving timesheets, and implementing policies.
