Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Traffic Signal Installer to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on street lights and traffic signals. The role involves wiring, coordinating with property owners, and ensuring safety standards are met.

The successful candidate will work full-time, be able to operate bucket trucks and equipment, and be prepared for long hours and overtime as needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints and construct as per plans.
• Experience directing Traffic Signal Laborers and operating related equipment.

Description

Traffic Signal Installer

This position will be responsible for performing various duties of troubleshooting, maintenance and repair duties on street lights and traffic signals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Oversees and assist with the wiring of street lighting and traffic signal and equipment
• Report to General Foreperson any issues involving maintenance of truck or equipment
• Will have contact with public and private property owners to communicate the work to be performed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a bucket or platform truck/device (L1-L3)
• Able to read blueprints/plans and construct as per plans (L2-L3)
• Able to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers. (L2-L3)
• Able to operate various equipment in order to install signal items (Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick/Boom Trk etc) (L2-L3)
• Able to work long hours and overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etc. Subject to call out work. (ALL LEVELS)

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Pre-Screen

• Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

License & Certifications

• Valid Driver's license required.

Travel Requirements

Must be willing to travel within the State of Texas as needed, overnight or out of town stay may be required up to 2 weeks as needed.
