Job summary

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies seeks a Traffic Signal Construction Foreman to lead field installation of signalized intersections and related infrastructure. You will coordinate civil, electrical, and traffic safety work to meet schedule goals and safety standards.

The Foreman will oversee trenching, cabinet energization, testing, and interaction with DOT inspectors, prime QC, and project engineers to ensure successful turnover and billing.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years experience in traffic signal or related civil/electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret signal plans, wiring diagrams, phase sheets, and project specifications.
• Experience coordinating with inspectors, engineers, and GC superintendents.
• Proficiency in crew leadership and field training.
• Ability to work safely around live traffic and energized cabinets.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for detection, wiring, and device bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead field installation of signalized intersections and related transportation infrastructure.
• Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, and GC/superintendents to ensure project compliance.
• Manage MOT plans, lane closures, and night work to support scheduling.
• Oversee turnout, testing, and commissioning of signal equipment and cabinets.
• Document field work, progress, and safety incidents for turnover.
