Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking a Protector to join our traffic safety team. No experience or degree is required; we provide training, support, and the chance to build a career in a safety‑critical role.

You’ll set up traffic control equipment, guide vehicles with stop/slow signals, work outdoors year‑round, and participate in a fast‑paced crew that values safety and reliability. Overtime and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; arrive on time for every shift.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take down traffic control equipment.
• Use stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Help keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outside year-round in all weather.
