Qualifications

• Base teaching requirement: High School Diploma, GED or higher.
• General program/course qualifications vary by course type (traffic safety, group dynamics, multiple offender).
• 45 hours of accredited coursework in Traffic Safety/Accident Prevention, AODA Education, and Group Work Methods per course type.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and related teaching activities.
• Manage the classroom and laboratory; maintain equipment, supplies and materials.
• Assess student performance; participate in program/department activities and meetings.
• Collaborate with advisory committees; promote the program and recruit/retain students.
• Support student organizations and activities; complete program evaluation and follow-up.
• Maintain certification and stay current in the field; perform other duties as assigned.
