Qualifications

• Proof of at least one college semester (45 hours) in Traffic Safety Studies or Accident Prevention.
• Certification in General Traffic Safety preferred at hire; if not certified, 13 hours of classroom observation within 3 weeks of hire.
• Valid driving record that meets Wisconsin DMV and DOT acceptable standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach General Traffic Safety Courses to eligible students.
• Teach Group Dynamics Courses and ensure prerequisites are met for participation.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and course compliance per Milwaukee Succeeds policies.
