Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Virginia-based team. You will manage inbound/outbound communications, follow up on orders, and identify opportunities to generate additional sales while building strong customer relationships.

The role emphasizes proactive service, detail orientation, and collaboration with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience in construction/traffic control or related industry.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Sales-minded with ability to upsell and close business.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Ability to handle high volume inbound/outbound calls.
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for incoming calls with professional greetings.
• Gather complete information when transferring calls or taking messages.
• Track customer messages and requests to ensure timely follow-up.
• Make outbound calls to quotes, orders, and sales opportunities.
• Provide customers with order status, shipping info, and delivery dates.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the system.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with administrative tasks and reporting.
