Job Summary

Leading traffic engineering practice to deliver traffic analyses, forecasts, and modeling for clients in South Carolina. Oversee and contribute to traffic engineering tasks and deliverables on multi‑disciplined teams on projects in SC and beyond. Leverage expertise to deliver projects on time, within budget and to client satisfaction. Lead mentoring, training, and reviewing team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline‑specific work, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
• Assist with marketing, proposal generation, scope of work, and level of effort for projects.
• Oversee completeness and accuracy of project team’s work; guide and mentor team to overall objectives.
• Coordinate technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level for work within discipline.
• Work closely with other disciplines on multi‑discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Proficiency in traffic analysis tools such as Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, TransModeler, TransCad, and Sidra.
• Previous project or task management experience.
