Job summary

HDR is seeking a Traffic & Planning Intern in St. Louis, MO. You will gain real-world experience applying standard engineering techniques in traffic planning, analysis and design, under guidance of senior engineers.

You'll assist with identifying transportation needs, conducting traffic operations and safety assessments, and supporting design while learning HDR's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to use basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to participate in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic planning, analysis and design tasks under supervision.
• Identify existing and future transportation needs and support mitigation strategies.
• Support mentoring connections with young professionals programs and other initiatives.
