Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Systems Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance Traffic Management Systems for clients across North America. You will be the technical expert, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure reliability of critical transportation platforms.

In this role, you will work with customers, document procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years ITS experience are preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for technical

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant technical experience in ITS or transportation tech.
• Experience supporting traffic management systems or related technologies.
• Strong Windows/Linux server and networking knowledge.
• Proficient in network, hardware, software, and database troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel and work independently with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for Traffic Management System support and customer issue resolution.
• Respond to support requests via ticketing system and hotline.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, communications, and network issues.
• Configure and maintain Traffic Signals, PTZ Cameras, DMS, and other ITS devices.
• Document system architectures, configurations, and procedures.
• Support backups, disaster recovery, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Software Engineers, QA, DBAs, and stakeholders.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 operations.
