Job summary

Alpha Paving Industries LLC is seeking a dependable Striping Crew Laborer to support pavement marking and striping projects on roadways and lots. You will assist with layout, painting, cleanup, and traffic control under the Foreman, and work outdoors in varying conditions.

The role requires reliability, willingness to learn, and physical stamina to lift up to 75 lbs and work long hours, including weekends. CDL preferred but not required; travel overnight may be required for remote projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in pavement marking or construction is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and inclement weather.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; CDL is a plus.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
• Willingness to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout and preparation of work areas for striping, including measuring and chalk lining.
• Load, unload, and organize paint, thermoplastic materials, stencils, and equipment.
• Operate hand tools and support striping machinery under supervision.
• Mask and protect surfaces that do not require markings.
• Apply paint or thermoplastic material using sprayers, hand liners, or other tools as directed.
• Set up traffic control devices and signage to ensure safe work zones.
• Perform cleanup of tools, equipment, and job site at the end of each shift.
• Follow instructions from the Foreman and communicate effectively with team members.
• Wear proper PPE and comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
