Job summary

HDR is inviting a Traffic Intern to gain real-world experience on engineering projects and engage with mentors and leaders in our employee-owned culture. You will apply standard engineering techniques and perform assignments under supervision, with a focus on attention to detail and strong communication.

The role supports Traffic Engineering within HDR's Arizona locations, offering part-time scheduling and exposure to real-world infrastructure projects under a project manager.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills are expected.

In the role of Traffic Intern, we'll count on you to:

• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Preference is given to local candidates

Required Qualifications
