Job summary

Sacbar is seeking a Planning Manager to lead complex traffic engineering and transit facilities planning studies. You will oversee staff or consultants, develop plans across short- and long-range programs, and ensure CEQA, NEPA, Title VI and ADA compliance.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, preparing technical reports, and representing the Director of Planning in meetings with public bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience with CEQA, NEPA, Title VI and ADA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interprets planning policy with District staff and interacts with outside transit partners.
• Develops staffing requirements and timelines for internal and consultant work.
• Prepares recommendations and informational reports for the public and Board.
