Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in traffic or transportation engineering.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with observing and collecting traffic data and conducting intersection evaluations and corridor studies.
• Perform analyses using simulation and modeling software.
• Assist with preparing preliminary designs and developing construction plans for traffic signals, staging, MOT, and signing/striping.
