Job summary

WSP is seeking a Traffic Engineering Technical Director to lead our Las Vegas traffic group and oversee project delivery for local and regional clients. You will mentor staff, provide engineering leadership, and drive technical excellence across traffic design, operations, and safety analyses.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in traffic engineering, a PE license, and proven experience in staff development and business growth within a multi-office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in traffic engineering and design.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Staff management and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a local team of traffic design and operations professionals with mentoring.
• Provide traffic engineering technical expertise on projects.
• Lead traffic-focused projects and tasks on multi-disciplinary programs.
• Collaborate with client relations to cross-sell services and ensure project delivery.
