Consor in McAllen, TX is seeking a Traffic Engineering Designer (EIT) to contribute to planning, analysis, and design of transportation projects, under licensed engineers and PMs. You will work on traffic analyses, control plans, and signal timing with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

This role offers hands-on experience from concept through final design, with opportunities to interact with clients and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in transportation design.
• 1+ years of directly related experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Aufgaben

• Deliver traffic engineering design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Develop and design traffic control systems including signals, signing, pavement markings, lighting, and work zone traffic control.
• Perform traffic engineering calculations and analyses, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate traffic design activities with multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Assist project engineers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and coordination of traffic deliverables.
• Support intersection, corridor, and multimodal studies as they relate to design implementation.
