Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Traffic Engineer to analyze traffic conditions, study patterns, and present findings to improve traffic flow. You will collect data on road construction, development, and signals, and use CAD/modeling software to simulate scenarios.

The role involves planning signal locations, timing systems, and preparing cost estimates for recommended improvements. Supervisory responsibilities include guiding Junior Traffic Engineers and delivering reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program is required.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required.

Responsibilities

• Study traffic patterns and develop recommendations to improve traffic control.
• Collect data on road construction, land development, and traffic signals.
• Use CAD and modeling software to simulate traffic scenarios.
• Plan traffic signal locations and timing systems.
• Prepare and present reports with study findings and cost estimates for improvements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
