Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 0–1 year transportation experience, preferably traffic or safety.
• Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, Sidra, VISSIM, TransModeler or similar tools is a plus.
• Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation or similar design software is a plus.
• EIT designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop traffic and transportation planning solutions within a team for various projects.
• Conduct intersection and corridor analyses using Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, Sidra and others.
• Analyze, develop, and evaluate traffic improvements.
• Create conceptual intersection/roadway and signal design plans in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Develop traffic management and signal timing plans.
• Prepare documents and reports summarizing data and findings.
• Collect and tabulate traffic data and conduct field safety assessments.
