The position is not eligible for overtime compensation.**Job Type**Unclassified**Department**Transportation**About the Position**As a Traffic Engineer in the Traffic Engineering Branch, you will lead the planning, design, analysis, and review of a variety of traffic engineering projects. You will apply advanced technical expertise to improve traffic flow, enhance roadway safety, and support data-driven design decisions across Maricopa County’s transportation network.In this role, you will prepare and review complex traffic engineering studies and designs, such as traffic signal layouts, intersection improvements, signing and pavement marking plans, and safety enhancement projects.
