Job summary

Verdantas is hiring a Transportation Engineer in the United States to lead traffic studies from planning through construction and to guide transportation solutions for public and private clients. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

This role requires 3+ years of experience, a PE license (PTOE a plus), and proficiency with key traffic/geometry tools. Strong communication and regulatory experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) required.
  • Minimum 3 years of traffic or civil engineering experience.
  • PE license required; PTOE is a strong plus.
  • Experience with ODOT, municipalities, and regulatory processes.
  • Proficiency with MicroStation, GEOPAK, HCS, Synchro, VISSIM or TransModeler.

Responsibilities

  • Lead traffic engineering studies and design projects from planning through construction.

What You'll Be Doing:

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET‑accredited) or related field
  • 3+ years of traffic or civil engineering experience
  • PE license required (PTOE is a strong plus)
  • Experience with ODOT, municipalities, and regulatory processes
  • Proficiency with MicroStation and GEOPAK
  • Experience with HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and/or TransModeler
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position is $90,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
