What Will You Be Doing?

• Work independently and as part of a team to learn, evaluate, and apply engineering principles, standards, and criteria.
• Assist in conducting studies, field reviews, and site investigations.
• Support traffic operation analysis, traffic signal timing plans, traffic impact analysis, and transportation planning studies.
• Utilize modeling tools like Synchro, VISSIM, and HCS for traffic analysis at intersections, arterial corridors, and freeway segments.
• Perform road safety assessments, corridor studies, signal warrant studies, speed studies, and safety analyses.
• Design work zone traffic control plans, traffic signal plans, and signage and marking plans.
• Use transportation databases and GIS tools for system analysis.
• Develop reports and supporting documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Proficiency in VISSIM and Synchro.
• Knowledge of traffic signal and ITS design.
• GIS and database management skills are a plus.

Compensation Range

$60,600.00 - $95,700.00

The final compensation depends on education, experience, skills, and location. It may include a base salary and performance-based bonuses.
